Good News: Government job readers get ready, bumper recruits are going to fall into the railway. There is good news for the candidates who are preparing for the job in Indian Railways. Railways will be recruited for 3 places this year. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has filled more than 9,000 places in the first quarter. The Railway Ministry issued a statement saying that more than 50,000 recruits would be made in the financial year 2025-26. The vacancies will be released by the RRB and the relevant railway recruitment board.

The Railway Ministry said in a press release that RRBS conducted CBT exams for more than 1.86 crore candidates for seven different recruitment instructions for November 2024 to 55,197 places. The ministry said that conducting CBT for RRB exams is a huge process that requires a lot of planning and coordination.

Priority to provide examination centers near the home of the candidates

The ministry said that the Railway Recruitment Board has taken initiative to allocate the examination centers to the candidates near their home, in which special priority has been given to women and disabled candidates. This pattern will also be adopted in the recruitment exams conducted in the future. For this, more human resources need to be collected to create a list of further examination centers and conduct the exam in a fair and transparent way.

Railways will also recruit bumper in 2026-27

The ministry said that the RRB has already issued 12 instructions for recruitment at 2024 to 1,08,324 places according to its published annual calendar. More than 50,000 appointments will be proposed in the next financial year 2026-27. All these appointments will be made to strengthen Indian Railway Management.

Jammers are being placed at the examination centers

Details of the steps taken to enhance the fairness of the exams, the ministry said that e-KYC based support authentication has been used to certify the identity of the candidates for the first time in such a large scale examinations. More than 95%of this has been successful. At the same time, to eliminate the possibility of fraud by electronic devices, 100% jammers are now being installed at all RRB examination centers.
