An estimated 15 lakh candidates from across the country will appear in the NEET exam, including 70,000 candidates from Gujarat. Today approximately 15 lakh candidates from across the country including Gujarat will give the NEET exam.

After class 12 science, NEET exam is compulsory for admission in medical, dental, AYUSH. The exam will be organized on July 17 i.e. today for 3 hours and 20 minutes i.e. from 2 pm to 5.20 pm.

NEET UG 2022 exam will be held across the country today. After class 12 science, NEET PG 2022 exam is mandatory to get admission to study in fields like medical, dental, ayush, veterinary. Around 18 lakh candidates from across the country will take the NEET UG exam then. Around 70,000 candidates across the state will appear for the NEET PG 2022 exam, including 10,900 in Ahmedabad. The exam will be held from 2 pm to 5.20 pm i.e. for 3 hours and 20 minutes. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination center after 1.30 pm. NEET UG 2022 exam will be conducted of 720 marks.

As for the NEET UG 2022 exam, the exam will ask a paper of 200 MCQs, which will include questions related to Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects. One MCQ will be of 4 marks, 180 MCQs to be answered. 4 marks for correct answer and 1 mark for wrong answer will be given minus mark. Candidates have to carry two copies of admit card with them.

NEET UG 2022 exam will be conducted in 542 cities of India while in 14 other countries of the world. NEET UG 2022 will be conducted in a total of 13 different languages. Students will appear for NEET UG 2022 in Hindi, Gujarati, English, Assamese, Urdu, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu languages. This time the upper age limit for NEET UG 2022 has been canceled.

Notably, the registration for NEET UG 2022 was to be done online from April 6 to May 20. The admit card was announced on July 12 through the neet.nta.nic.in website.
