A statement has been released by the All India Council for Technical Education. Accordingly the date of admission has been extended till 30 October 2023. Earlier the date for admission was fixed as 17 October 2023. Along with this, candidates can also take admission in these courses through lateral entry.

Details of AICTE Academic Calendar 2023-24

AICTE has extended the last date for seeking recognition from universities and boards affiliated to technical institutes in its revised academic calendar 2023-2024 to October 30. Apart from this, the date of admission to online distance learning and online courses run by various institutions has been extended as per University Grants Commission i.e. UGC rules.

Date of admission fixed till 20 October 2023

UGC has recently fixed the date of admission till 20 October 2023 for July 2023 session to all institutions offering distance learning and online education. Candidates should note that the date extended by AICTE is not applicable only for institutes offering management courses (PGDM or PGCM).

AICTE was supposed to complete the admission process in technical institutes by September 15 in its annual session 2023-2024 calendar. But later, the AICTE announced the change in the academic calendar 2023-2024 after the order passed by the Supreme Court on 13 October 2023 in a related case.
