GUJCET provisional answer key 2026 : The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board has announced the provisional answer key for GUJCET. According to the provisional answer key announced by the education board, Gujarati and Hindi medium students have already got 3 marks and English medium students have got 4 marks before the results. While in Mathematics and Biology, two options are found to be correct in one question, marks will be given based on whichever of the two correct options is written.
GUJCET provisional answer key 2026 released
Submissions can be made with the necessary supporting evidence regarding the provisional answer key till April 8. After receiving the submissions, it will be verified by experts and the final answer key will be announced.
According to the information received, the education board conducted the GUJCET for admission to engineering-pharmacy on March 29. After the examination, the board announced the provisional answer key for GUJCET on April 4. In which it has been decided to give 1 mark to all students in Mathematics for a mistake in 1 question.
In addition, in mathematics, if two options are found to be correct in a question, whichever option is written out of the two will be given marks. While in the Physics-Chemistry paper, it has been decided to give 2 marks for all students for a mistake in 2 questions. While in Biology, it has been decided to give 2 marks for a mistake in a question for Gujarati and Hindi medium students. While in Biology, it has been decided to give 1 mark for a mistake in 1 question for English medium students. While in 1 question, it has been decided to give 2 marks for a mistake in 1 question for English medium students. Thus, Gujarati and Hindi medium students will get 3 marks and English medium students will get 4 marks.
How to Download
An opportunity has also been given to any student to make a representation regarding the provisional answer key announced by the Education Board. In which arrangements have been made so that students can make a representation to the board with the necessary supporting evidence regarding the provisional answer key by April 8. A fee of Rs. 500 per question will have to be paid along with the representation.
If the representation made by the candidate is found to be correct, the amount of the fee paid by him will be refunded. After receiving the submissions by the board till April 8, it will be checked by experts. The experts will check it and give their opinion, based on which the final answer key of GUJCET will be announced and the result will be prepared based on it.
It is noteworthy that the education board had recently announced the provisional answer key for the four main subjects of Std. 12 Science. In which it has been decided to give marks to the students for some questions found to be wrong in the question papers of Chemistry and Physics. In which it was decided to give 4 marks to Gujarati and English medium students. While it was decided to give 3 marks to Hindi medium students. After that, even before the results are declared in GUJCET, marks have been given to the students.
