Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) has issued a notification for 110 vacancies of Trade Apprenticeship (Ex-ITI) for training at its Bhanur unit in Telangana, inviting applications from ITI passed candidates. A total of 110 vacancies are available for various trades at Bhanur Unit in Sangareddy, Telangana. The highest number of vacancies are reserved for Fitter, Electronics Mechanic and COPA trades.

Essential Qualification and Age Limit:

To be eligible, candidates must have passed 10th/SSC examination from a recognized board and must have ITI pass certificate in the trade for which they are applying. Engineering graduates and diploma holders are specifically noted to be ineligible to apply for this particular apprenticeship training programme.

The age limit for general candidates (as on 31.09.2025) is minimum 14 years and maximum 30 years. Age relaxation benefits are applicable for certain categories: SC/ST candidates get 5 years relaxation, OBC candidates get 3 years relaxation and PwD candidates get relaxation between 10 to 15 years, depending on their category.

Selection Process and Training Details

The selection of candidates eligible for training under the Apprentice Act 1961 will be based on merit only.

Merit List: A separate merit list will be prepared for each trade. The selection is made on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in their 10th/SSC and ITI examinations, with equal weightage given to the marks of both the qualifications.

Medical Examination: Candidates shortlisted in the merit list must successfully pass the prescribed medical examination as per the rules in force, before being admitted to the training course.

The selected apprentices will get stipend during the training period, which will be paid at the rate prescribed in accordance with the prevailing instructions under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961. As per the established norms, the training period for the notified trades will normally be one year. Note that BDL will not pay any TA/DA (Travelling Allowance/Dearness Allowance) to the candidates attending the certificate verification or other selection activities.

How to Apply Online

Applications must be submitted online only through the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) portal. Applications received through any other means or medium will not be considered. There is no application fee for this recruitment drive.

Key Application Steps:

Registration: Candidates will first have to register as an apprentice on the DGET portal of the Government of India (apprenticeshipindia.gov.in). Registration requires filling personal details, contact information, details of educational and technical qualifications and trade preference. Aadhaar verification is mandatory and must be completed carefully, as the name entered on the portal cannot be changed after verification.

Document Upload: Candidates must upload their latest passport-sized photograph, 10th/SSC marksheet (Date of Birth Document), and ITI marksheet (Mandatory). Incomplete applications or applications submitted without the required documents will be rejected.

Applying to BDL: After successful registration and activation, candidates should use the “Establishment Search” feature and select Bharat Dynamics Limited, Bhanur (Reg. No. E06203600009), and then apply for the relevant apprenticeship notification.

Final Submission: Applicants should review all the details carefully, especially ensuring that their Aadhaar number, name and date of birth match their 10th standard/SSC certificate, and submit the application before the closing date, 30 October 2025.
