The Gujarat Police Recruitment Board just dropped the physical exam dates for Police Sub Inspector (PSI) and Lokrakshak (LRD) positions.
Gujarat Police jobs Physical Test Notification (January 21st to March 6th, 2026)
- If you’re a guy, your test is January 21st to March 6th, 2026. For women and ex-servicemen, it’s January 21st to March 6th, 2026. They’re hiring for 858 PSI spots and 12,733 LRD positions.
- More than 10 lakh people signed up! The physical tests are happening at 15 locations across the state starting January 21st, 2026.
- Guys will test at 11 locations, women/ex-servicemen at 4. High-ranking police officers will supervise each location. They’re doing biometric registration for everyone.
During the running part, expect tech stuff. CCTV cameras will record all the physical tests. Health folks will measure height/chest. There’s even a central control room in Gandhinagar watching all the locations.
Here’s the running breakdown:
* Men: 5000 meters in 25 minutes
* Women: 1600 meters in 9 minutes 30 seconds
* Ex-Servicemen: 2400 meters in 12 minutes 30 seconds
Height requirements:
* ST Men: 162 cm
* Other Men: 165 cm
* ST Women: 150 cm
* Other Women: 155 cm
Guys, your chest needs to be at least 79 cm, expanding to 84 cm.
